Destined for greatness

You are destined for great things! Do you ever doubt your abilities, strengths, skills etc. I sure do! There are days I wonder what I am doing and if I am making any impact. If you haven’t heard of Hal Elrod, you need to check out his book or podcast Miracle Morning ( achieve your goals podcast episode #46) . 

I love this quote so much and it really resonated with me. We are destined for more, capable of accomplishing bigger things then we can even imagine and deserving of this as well. 

This has been a hard concept for me to grasp and something I continually work on. 

When I dropped out of high school in 9th grade I thought the life I had dreamed about was gone and then I had that one person believ in me enough to help me pursue and finish school, this was my aunt Susan. She saw potential in me that I did not think even existed. I remember her helping me with packets from BYU online and helping me prep for the GED exam. 

I look at where I am now and I am so grateful for her strength and encouragement to start me on this journey and to help me change the direction of my life. Although I didn’t immediately and choose drugs and addiction after this accomplishment, I was destined for more and God provided a way for me to achieve even more than I could ever have imagined. 

Since dropping out of high school I have gone on to not only get my Associates, Bachelors and even my Masters degree as well as becoming a Dyslexic Practioner. I am a highly qualified educator, a high school dropout who was destined and capable of more!
